YAHTZEE! Quarterback Joey Gatewood will transfer to KENTUCKY

YAHTZEE! Former Auburn quarterback Joey Gatewood has announced he will be transferring to the University of Kentucky, in a tweet he posted Thursday evening. He is considered arguably the best transfer prospect in the nation.
Gatewood, the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 36 overall player from the class of 2018, took multiple visits to UK’s campus before ultimately deciding the Bluegrass will be his new home. One visit came last Saturday, when he was in attendance for Kentucky’s 45-13 beatdown over the Louisville Cardinals.

Vince Marrow is pretty excited.

This is HUGE!
This is incredible! Welcome aboard, Joey Gatewood!
Will this hurt us with Allen?
Who cares?
So, all we need is one great QB? what happens when he goes down with injury? We aren’t always going to have an LBJ at WR. might be good to have a stable full of great QB’s like the power schools do….
My point exactly!!!
Absolutely not
Friggin amazing . Welcome to the bbn .
Great news. This will start a flood of big time commitments. Year after next, we contend for league title…and beyond. Go Cats!!!!
Next year AND year after next
….and a few transfers.
Exciting times!
WOWZER!!!
It is great to be alive and a Wildcat fan. 🙂
We basically just signed Cam Newton to be our QB in the 2021-22 season (has to sit out next year unless a waiver is granted by NCAA).
