Would you pay $5,000 to tailgate in a mini mansion?

Tailgating is a religion in the South, and I thought SEC fans did it better than anyone, but Georgia Southern is taking it to another level. Georgia Southern is now offering 400 square foot mini-mansions/tailgating suites to fans on game days.

The mini-mansions can accommodate up to 50 people and include four HD TVs with satellite, a wet bar, air conditioning, a private bathroom, and an optional outdoor area with an additional TV, patio furniture outdoor beer fridge, and propane grill. Each mini-mansion is stocked and ready to go on game day, no setup necessary.

The pricetag? $5,000 each per game. Would you pay that much for a stress-free luxury tailgate?

if you can coordinate 30-35 people, that’s only about $150 per person which is about the same amount a lot of people consider when it comes to getting a parking pass … i think it’s definitely worth it

i have a hard time believing that a place like that can accommodate 50 people… 30-35, as mentioned by Cracka, seems to be a little more accurate/comfortable. Even still, could get a little tight with some larger-than-average males.

It’s not tailgating. You’re hanging out in someone’s house. Tailgating is, tailgating.

That is a great idea ! Of course you can’t get 30 – 50 people in the house at one time, you’re in & outside, hence the tv & table outside. This would be like having a huge neighborhood house party. They look a lot better than those stupid train things UL has at PJ.
