Kentucky has prepared for both Will Grier and Treon Harris this week, but the Gators just announced that Grier, a redshirt freshman, will be the starting quarterback on Saturday. This is Grier’s second consecutive start, his first on the road. Last week, he was 10-17 for 151 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in Florida’s win over ECU, and in the season opener against New Mexico State, he was 16-18 for 166 yards, two touchdowns passing, and one rushing.
Yesterday, McElwain said he wasn’t ready to name a starter, so I’d still expect to see plenty of Treon Harris.
