What Mark Stoops was Paid Per Win

stoops aint scared, come at me bro

Last week the USA Today broke down how well assistant coaches were paid.  This week CBS has broken down how much the head coach earned per win in 2015.

Mark Stoops didn’t give much bang for UK’s buck.  Stoops made $652,720 for each victory this season, for a total of around $3.26 million.  The only coaches in the SEC that made more per win were Gus Malzahn, Gary Pinkel and Steve Spurrier.  Jim McElwain was the greatest value in the SEC making just less than $400,000 per win.  And if you were wondering how much Bobby Petrino made for each victory — $429,071.

Too bad we can’t get more than half a million dollars per post.

Who says we don’t pay our football coaches well? At least we are competitive in the pay per win column.
