We’re gonna have to wait until Sunday to find out the UK/Tennessee game time

I’ve got some bad news for those of you trying to make plans for Saturday, November 12: you’re gonna have to wait until Sunday to know the UK/Tennessee game time. CBS is exercising its six-day option for the November 12 games, meaning they are waiting for the results of this week’s games before deciding which game will get the prime 3:30 p.m. slot.

UK/Tennessee could be a noon, 3:30 p.m., 7 p.m., or 7:30 p.m. kickoff. It could take place on CBS, ESPN, or the SEC Network. No one knows for sure. The other games still up in the air:

  • LSU at Arkansas
  • Auburn at Georgia
  • South Carolina at Florida
  • Ole Miss at Texas A&M

CBS has first selection for the 3:30 ET window; ESPN has second selection for the 7:00 pm ET window; CBS has third selection for the Noon ET window, SEC Network has fourth and fifth selections for the Noon ET and 7:30 ET windows.

Here’s all of that laid out graphically if it helps:

One thing I do know for sure? The Butch Jones train is going off the rails in Knoxville. Not only did Jones confirm that star running back Jalen Hurd is transferring, he called out a TV reporter who asked about his job security for leaving the press conference early. Classy, Butch.

And remember this tweet by defensive lineman Jonathan Kongbo that suggested he was “hanging his cleats up”?

Jones claimed that tweet was about losing a game of FIFA.

🤔

imo, if we beat uga, and LSU loses, we get the 3:30 slot bc it will be an atlanta deciding game. if LSU wins and we lose, they will get it

both lose or both win, i have no clue

Wow. Butch Jones had a real Billy Clyde vibe going on today, didn’t he?

Who thought after week 2 that Butch Jones would be flailing and UT’s wheels would be falling off, and that Stoops would be joking around with reporters and skipping to practice like a young kid on the way to Disneyland?

    Anyone? Anyone at all?

Yeah, me either. I thought he was toast and the season was a dead duck. I couldn’t begin tell you how happy I am to have been so, so wrong.

Not that worried. For those of us going, at least it’s a close one, so plans can be altered last minute. Would be a lot harder to deal with if it was Florida or something.
Hoping we get the 3:30, I think it’ll be that if we beat Georgia, and especially if Florida loses to Arkansas, otherwise, we probably get 7:00 and LSU-Arky gets the 3:30.
