Way-Too-Early Kentucky Football Spreads

Thursday morning we learned when Kentucky will kick off its first three games of the season. Shortly after early game time announcements were leaked, the bookmakers went to work.
Upon perusing a few sports books, your University of Kentucky Wildcats are featured on three separate occasions, but only once are they favored.
Obviously, the Cats are favored against the Cards. Unless Freddie Satts has a magic wand hidden underneath his sleeve, the line against Scott’s Tots will only grow larger.
Even though the matchup with Florida is much earlier in the season, the line is even more fluid. Dan Mullen’s preseason hype train could come to a screeching halt if they’re exposed as frauds in the season-opener against Miami, or they could destroy the Canes and become college football’s darlings.
If you are feeling even froggier, hop on UK to win the SEC Championship. FanDuel has the Cats tied for Auburn with the sixth-best odds at +2700. We live in a wild world where UK and Auburn are in the same conversation for the SEC title.
Win totals will be released in about six weeks. Over 6.5 bettors cashed in early in 2018. I expect Vegas to bump it up to 7.5 for the 2019 season. Looking at UK’s schedule, eight wins is within reach.
Remember, always wager responsibly. Or else you’ll end up like Drew Franklin.
