The top plays each Saturday from the Kentucky football team are coming from the Wildcat defense. In this one, UK picked off two Georgia passes to extend the Wildcats’ INT count to 11 on the year, the most in the nation when they happened.

First it was Phil Hoskins intercepting Stetson Bennet after Hoskins tipped the ball to himself at the line of scrimmage. Georgia in scoring territory, it prevented a Bulldogs response to UK’s field goal.

Then Bossman Fat got his third of the year in the third quarter. That’s a pick every other game for the newcomer.

The defense is for real.

You’re a moron. We’ve only got beaten in two games. UGA and Mizzou. Our other two were flukes, we were definitely the better team in them. We don’t suck at all. We’re very frustrating, I’ll give you that. But we have a very good team. We just need a spark on offense.
