Look I’m not heartbroken this is exactly what we thought would happen. We still win out and play in a new year’s 6 bowl so cheer up we still have a shot to do some special things this year that no one said we would have a legit chance at doing it just won’t be what we hoped it would be but the sky is the limit for our program and in Stoops we should all trust but Eddie Gran has to go.

The play calling opened up once UK was down 3 scores. Enough said. Running Benny up the middle every other down was soooooo readable.

We are unbalanced and too predictable…

Running Benny isnt the problem. Its where they are running him. For a little while he was having alot of success running outside getting chunks, then Gran got cute with some trick plays and it put us behind the chains and we couldnt keep running Benny. Later he kept running him up the middle for 1 or 2 yards. That stuff worked earlier in the year. Our Oline has regressed. Terry can throw the ball also. Im not sure why Gran does get more creative with Terry and Lynn and allow Benny to be an alternate piece. Benny cant be the focal point going forward. He is a great back, but we need something else with Benny

I saw Lynn speaking choice words after going down field and getting yardage and then they run an RPO and TW keeps its on the the right side with a gain of three yards and we got to kick a field goal I believe the OC has got to go…theres no happy medium with him…no bursts…no balance and no ATTACK…it’s grind and grind 3-5 yards and run the clock down…! That’s busted us 2 years in a row…he’s got to honor Stoops call the Offense from now on…we should be putting up 35-40 points a game

Yep. Why don’t they let them run outside any? They’re successful all 3 times I’ve seen them try it . It’s beyond frustrating watching them try everything that doesn’t work

But Eddie put in Gunnar last week Medic. I thought that was the answer to all of our offensive prayers??

Gotta suck it up…they chose a QB that hesitated and has no true vision down field…he panicked…held onto to the ball all night and the last 6 games

Wake up cats646, combatmedic is slater and if you read the garbage he posted during basketball season you must know there is not even a glimmer of intelligence in his skull, probably because he lacks a brain.

Maybe Louisville will hire Ole Eddie Gran and take him off our hands…. Heck might be all that ole Louisville can afford after they pay the buy out for ole Bobby Petrino LOL

We will never beat the good teams until we get 5 star talent. Our linebackers are too slow, our receivers are too slow, and our coaching staff likes plow horse football. One thing is abundantly clear, if you can’t throw in the SEC , you won’t beat the good teams

Gran’s been here 3-4 years?? How have we improved?? It’s time to move on. If we have any type of offensive this year we would be going to Atlanta

Do you like Stoops? Do you think he has done a good job? Do you think he let’s the OC cast the vision and strategy offensively? Visionary leadership answers the questions why are we here, who are we and where are we going. Strategic leadership answers the question what are we going to do and operational leadership answers the question how are we going to do it. Why? To win as a team. Who? Tough, physical team. Where? More wins each year. What? Control clock and physically dominate teams. How? With defense and running football. If you have a problem with Gran take it up with Stoops. I will not because I like the aforementioned Why, Who, Where, What and How and I like Stoops. Leave the brainstorming up to Stoops and shed the blamestorming.

I know why we got run on by Georgia it wasn’t what our defense wasn’t doing,it was what Georgia was doing to our defense. We actually lost this game yesterday when Jordan Jones broke his hand.

If you didn’t notice Georgia drew up all of thier big running plays in the direction of either Kash Daniels or Jordan Jones, and Georgia positioned the runner to the side of each defender’s broken hand so the only way they make contact with the runner is with the mallet hand. Since you can’t grab anything with a mallet cast on your hand the only that Jordan Jones specifically could do was let watch the runner go by him for 10-20+ yards at a time. Georgia called these running plays constantly throughout the game. This pretty much killed us on defense because we couldnt get into 3rd and longs which as a result prevented us from being able to use our favorite nickel and dime sets that would of allowed us to send Josh Allen loose and let us get good pressure on Georgia’s QB. However because of what Georgia was doing we weren’t able to do that and Josh Allen was rendered useless. Infact I don’t think Georgia’s QB Jake Fromm was rushed all game. We did miss a bunch of tackles but it was good scouting by Georgia that ultimately was the difference.

I’m proud of our team,we still have a chance to finish the season 10-2 and play in a New Year’s six bowl game. So no crying over spilled milk. Go CATS!!!

Square and Oats were both in when Georgia ran for the 84 yrd TD run. According to Stoops, they missed their assignment, so there you go.

Slater you really should submit your coaching resume, you’re the answer to all this team’s short comings.

“One of those is on an RPO if you don’t throw the ball you have to run out of the pocket”

Eddie Gran is so smart, why doesn’t Terry Wilson just do the play 🙂

I’ll say eddie gran is better than joker and shannon dawson. I think while we have benny the mindset wil remain ground and pound. Our offensive line struggles with fast athletic 5 star caliber talent. Georgia has had 2 top 5 classes in a row. If you don’t think that matters you don’t know football. Quick first drive and that punt return pretty much ended the game. They were able to play with the lead after that.

    Plain and Simple.
Georgia was a much better team. There is nothing to be ashamed off. We would have been beaten no matter who the OC was.
We simply cannot lose any of the three remaining games and I will be so proud of this team and staff.
We finish 10-2, our recruiting will get a little better and in 3-4 years, Kentucky will be playing competitively with the best year in and year out.
    PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.

I reject the premise that this was a heartbreaking loss. Dissapointed? Yes. Did we have our bubble burst and fell back down to earth? Absolutely. But we still have a shot at 10-2, and this program is being built the right way for sustained success, so life is good.
