WATCH: UK Football signs 11-year-old Luke Klausing

There is a special press conference at Kroger Field this morning, where the Kentucky football program is announcing the signing of Luke Klausing, an 11-year-old with cystic fibrosis. Luke is one of 30,000 patients living with CF and today he will sign his Letter of Intent to become a Wildcat.

Luke, a Louisville native, is listed as a wide receiver and he plans to wear No. 18 in honor of Randall Cobb. He will sign with UK thanks to the support of Team IMPACT and Vertex Pharmaceuticals.

It’s gestures like this that make me happy to be a part of the BBN and proud of our athletic department.

This is a great story! Although when I first read the headline I had flashes of Billy Clyde’s recruiting practices flash into my brain until I read it through. 🙂

Hes not gonna be going up the middle any so in my opinion he needs to gain weight before we talk about him getting any snaps

With that speed he won’t need to go up the middle just beat the D off the ends.
