Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

WATCH: Terry “Touchdown” Wilson is fast. Really, really fast.

We all know Terry “Touchdown” Wilson has some wheels, but we haven’t seen it in action much yet in his time at Kentucky. He had a few impressive runs in the Spring Game, but with the quarterback no-contact rule, it was just a small taste of what we might be seeing this season if he earns the starting job.

This afternoon, Kentucky cornerback Lonnie Johnson released a video that should get fans excited. Really excited.

Wilson raced another Wildcat on the track at Nutter Field House and absolutely destroyed him.

Benny Snell’s reaction says it all. This kid is going to be special with the ball in his hands.

As for the other Wildcats, they’re all putting in ridiculous work this summer to prepare for the upcoming season. The official Kentucky football account sent out the following video this afternoon:

And the work is clearly showing:

Is it football season yet?

Can he complete passes? Read defenses? Just wondering since he’s a QB.

So who was the other Wildcat, and how fast were they going? It’s hard to tell from the video.

No one has ever questioned his speed but his career 57% completion and his tendency to throw the ball to the other team have been.

As a Sr he was running 4.5 40s at 195lbs at camps. And speaking of track he ran in the 22 range in the 200 during the OKST tournament. So he should have only gotten faster and stronger in Oregon’s/JUCO’s weight rooms.

If this hype matches 8 regular season wins, then it’s all good, otherwise its just hype. Our defense better has to show improvement.

Hood working with the Secondary, getting White from the Colts to work with LB’s and edge rushers should help, moving Paschal inside and the 2nd year for he and Bohanan will help and having an OLine that can keep the D from playing extended snaps will all play into a better D, in my opinion. I am cautiously optimistic in regards to TD Terry. Jumping from JC to the SEC is quite a leap (though it can and has been done before). At least his speed seems legit! (both quick and fast)
