If it’s been said once, it’s been said a million times: there was no one quite like Jared Lorenzen. With a cannon of an arm, the body of a lineman, and a ballerina’s feet, the Hefty Lefty was an unforgettable figure on the football field. The game was just more fun when he was playing it.

It’s been an emotional week, so let’s sit back and watch Jared do what Jared did best: sling that football.

Thanks to KyWildcatsTV for the highlights.

Is he not the most fluid and beautiful thrower of the football you’ve ever seen?! Every throw, even when his feet were not set, came out effortlessly with that desired white O flying towards the receiver. Such a tight spiral.

Anyone else believe had Jared been given the opportunity to play his rookie year by some random factors going his way. He could have potentially been a n everyday NFL qb? He would have been so driven to stay in shape. with his arm talent, heart/guts, feel for the game, and most important of all his ability to be a leader of men I truly believe he could have cut it in the league.

    What do y’all think?

A few years ago, one of the Kentucky social media people did a tribute video called Simply The Best. They did the video for Basketball. I believe that there should be a video using that song for the UK Quarterbacks and end the video with highlights of Jared.
