Kentucky returns to the road after knocking off Tennessee to take on Missouri. The 1-2 Tigers gave Eli Drinkwitz his first win at Mizzou by upsetting the defending National Champion LSU Tigers 45-41 two weeks ago.
In his final discussion with the media before kickoff, Mark Stoops said the team looked into a mirror to prepare for this matchup. Even though they dominated the Vols, there was still much to be desired on the film.
“I felt like it was a good week of practice. Hopefully it will translate to us playing better,” said Stoops. “I feel like we have pretty good health. Guys worked hard, there’s a lot of stuff to build on and a lot of things to get corrected, so we’ll need to play a good game here going on the road agains. Excited and looking forward to the challenge once again.”
The Kentucky defensive line has been challenged to rise to the occasion. Stoops shared how they responded and more in this brief conversation.
