For the second consecutive year a Kentucky Wildcat could be the Captain of the Allstate Good Works Team.
Each year college football’s 22 best community servants are named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. One of those is selected captain by a fan vote. Thanks to the BBN’s help, offensive tackle Landon Young was the 2019 Good Works Team Captain. The title took him to the Sugar Bowl and the College Football Awards Show.
This year Young could be joined by another member of the Big Blue Wall.
Offensive guard Luke Fortner helped design a push cart through the “Lift Them Up” program that allows kids from the Kentucky Children’s Hospital to lead the Cat Walk each Saturday. An active volunteer at KCH, even when Fortner can’t physically be in the building, he hops on Zoom calls answer questions from kids who are battling difficult diseases.
Fortner has been a gift to the Lexington community. Now it’s your turn to give back by voting for him to become Good Works Team Captain. You can vote here once a day now through Nov. 22. There’s nothing to sign up for, no hoops to jump through — all it takes is one click.
Visit this page and vote for Luke Fortner today, tomorrow, the next day, the next day and the next day…
