The last week has been a whirlwind for Kentucky’s Josh Paschal.
The sophomore defensive end returned to action on Saturday to play in his first game since he was diagnosed with cancer in August. Paschal started at outside linebacker and recorded a tackle in about 18 snaps of action.
Paschal has already been rewarded by the SEC for kicking cancer in the teeth, named this week’s SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Now he’s up for another illustrious award. Our friends from Pardon My Take have nominated Paschal for Football Guy of the Week.

As much as Shannon the Dude loves Jim Ross, nobody deserves this award more than Paschal. Cast your vote ASAP.
