Not many programs have raided the transfer portal with more success than Kentucky Football.

According to 247 Sports, which updated its college football transfer rankings earlier on Wednesday, the Wildcats have four of the top 110 transfers in the country with wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson ranked the highest, checking in at No. 4 overall. Robinson, who transferred over from Nebraska, joins LSU offensive line transfer Dare Rosenthal (No. 38), Ole Miss linebacker transfer Jacquez Jones (No. 98), and Penn State quarterback transfer Will Levis (No. 110).

4. Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Kentucky (from Nebraska): Robinson, a multidimensional offensive weapon, could be a big breakout player in the SEC in 2021.

38. Dare RosenthalOL, Kentucky (from LSU): Left LSU because of off-field issues — definitely not ability. Massive offensive tackle with SEC experience and a talented skill set, Rosenthal should help upgrade Kentucky’s unit right away.

98. Jacquez Jones, LB, Kentucky (from Ole Miss)

110. Will Levis, QB, Kentucky (from Penn State) — 247 Sports

Robinson is the prize, considering he’s one of the most versatile playmakers in all of college football, but the other three transfers should start from day one alongside Robinson.

In addition to those four, Kentucky brought on a few other quality transfers that didn’t make the top 150, but still expect to make some sort of immediate impact. Justice Dingle (defensive end from Georgia Tech), Luke Fulton (linebacker from Michigan State), and Tre’Von Morgan (wide receiver from Michigan State) were all coveted prospects before transferring to Lexington.

247 Sports also released its All-Transfer Team on Wednesday, which included Robinson as one of the three wide receivers.

Football season can’t come soon enough…

Looking forward to the season and I sure hope Levis is way better than Penn State thought he was.

I can’t wait to see the product on the field……even if the qb sucks at least our running game will be mpre adaptive to the situation. Last year looked like Joker was back against good defenses but with a better team. I had hoped the days of run up the middle, run up the middle, qb run/throw an errant pass or screen…..punt, repeat.
