UK will open the 2018 season with Central Michigan

Ready to look ahead to the 2018 season? According to fbschedules.com, UK will open the 2018 campaign by hosting Central Michigan on September 1, 2018. The Chippewas will reportedly receive $1.15 million for the game. The last time the two teams met was in 2011, when the Cats won 27-11. UK leads the series 6-0.

So far, we know three of UK’s non-conference opponents for the 2018 season: Central Michigan (September 1), Chattanooga (November 17), and Louisville (November 24).

2018…what will UK football look like then?

Is this the same C. Michigan that just beat a highly ranked OK. St.? And the one who regularly beats high major teams…I think Purdue last year. Who the heck does this scheduling?
With UL, UK needs 3 sure wins in the non-conference. Granted, there aren’t many of those teams left lately…..

Unless we do something with defense, anybody see the Southern Mississippi Game? Same stuff, different decade.

The score was 27-13, not 27-11.
