UK partnering with Lyft to offer $20 discounts tomorrow

UK is doing everything it can to make sure fans enjoy tomorrow’s game responsibly.

This morning, the university announced it is partnering with ride-sharing service Lyft to offer $20 discounts to people in the Lexington area between noon tomorrow and 2 a.m. Sunday. All you have to do is enter the promo code “CATURDAY” in the Lyft app and you’ll receive two $10 discounts to use to get to the game or the drinking establishment of your choice and back. (I hear KSBar and Grille is pretty good.)

The offer is made possible thanks to UK, Keeneland, the Kentucky Distillers’ Association, and a coalition of Bluegrass supporters, who raised $20,000 to prevent impaired driving. As we were reminded earlier this season with the tragic death of four-year-old Marco Shemwell, there is NO excuse for drinking and driving. Kudos to UK for making it easier than ever to celebrate responsibly.

If you do park your car somewhere in Lexington tomorrow, don’t park it on these streets or it will be towed:
