UK Linebackers Getting National Love

This is an awesome picture. Two former Cats. Two current Denver Broncos Linebackers. Two guys getting major national love. Jon Gruden has been effusive in his praise of his the UK Linebackers tonight, making sure that people know Danny Trevathan and Wesley Woodyard are top talents. Good to see positive UK press in the football world.

Yes. It has been awesome. Mentioned at least once every time the Broncos D is on the field. Great to see two UK greats anchoring the defense for one of the best teams in the league. Their speed has been very impressive in closing in on receivers and in the pass rush.

  3. Awesome!

What’s sticks out to me in that list the most? Alphonso Smith and Michael Bush have the same amount of carries this season thus far, and Smith is averaging over double yards per carry. All hail Michael Bush

Awesome! I never suggested you should feel “butt hurt” but there are more than three Cats making an impact in the NFL. There are several Louisville players getting attention. Michael Bush had a big day with the Bears, Harry Douglas with the Falcons. Elvis Dumervil,I believe Bilal Powell is getting good reps with the Jets. That guys name I cant remember who played wide receiver for the Patriots but was really good.
