Who’s up for a trip to Birmingham? Perhaps Memphis?
Those are the two cities projected to host Big Blue Nation for Kentucky’s potential bowl game at the end of the year. Mark Schlabach and Brett McMurphy of ESPN.com fame made their Week 9 Bowl Projections yesterday and they each have UK playing an additional game.
Schlabach projects Kentucky and Cincinnati meeting in the Birmingham Bowl on Wednesday, December 30. That’s a noon game on ESPN.
McMurphy has the Cats meeting Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis. That game is set for 3:20 pm on Saturday, January 2, also on ESPN.
Let’s worry about Georgia, Vanderbilt, Charlotte and Louisville first.
