UK Football Spring Game moved to Saturday this year

At this time everyone please pull out your calendars or your calendar applications and please clear your schedules for Saturday, April 11.

You’ll be at UK’s Blue/White spring game that day. Write it in big bold letters to be safe.

It is big news that the Cats will hold their annual intrasquad scrimmage on a Saturday this year for the first time since 2016. They tried the Friday thing the last three years, but it’s time to get back to a full day of football excitement.

Kickoff is set for noon so you can still get some tailgating in and hopefully not have to skip any work to maximize the experience. We will have plenty more details to come when we know them; in the meantime, spread the word and start planning those early arrangements. Keep in mind the following day is Easter Sunday, so you’ll be walking into church talking all kinds of noise about Atlanta.

Go Cats.

Not a fan of the 12:00 games at all. Just not enough time to tailgate and hang with all the friends and family before the game. 4 is a great time but nothing like the ol 7:00 pm games. Lol. Really, by the time you drive in the morning to get there and set up everything and cool and all that’s it’s game time.

Ohh well, I’ll be there anyway!! Hahahaha just have to get a room the night before to do it right. I only live an hour an a half away, but that Driving sure does eat into the game day experience. I will add that this is the most exciting Ive ever been for the spring and can’t hardly wait.

I re-watched the last 8:15 of the Belk Bowl last night. Still fist pumping and cheering. 😀
