UK accomplished something only one other SEC team has in the last 10 years

@UKFootball
Normally, Kentucky is on the bad end of SEC Football statistics, but not today. Behind 374 combined rushing yards from Boom Williams and Benny Snell, Kentucky became only the second SEC team in the past ten years to have two players reach 175 rushing yards in a conference game. Benny finished with 38 carries for 192 yards and two touchdowns, while Boom had 19 carries for 182 yards and one touchdown.
Kentucky’s offense had 582 total yards today after going for 554 vs. Mississippi State last week. Today marks the first time Kentucky’s had back-to-back 500 yard games since 2001. As Drew told you earlier, before this season, Kentucky had only two 500-yard games in SEC play in the last eight years. Wow.
Let’s watch Boom and Benny do their thing:

If you UK paid 5 million dollars they couldn’t hire an OC that make good calls for the whole game. They ran almost every play in the second half and when it was 4 and 2 they threw a long wild pass and turned the ball over to them instead of running for the 1st down.
Stephen Johnson threw the ball because he thought there was going to be an offsides call on the defense. It wasn’t called (although it should have been)… Do you even football? Keep up.
Know why they kept running the ball? Because it kept working. And it kept the clock running. Football much?
That didn’t take long. Thanks for focusing on the negative, rather than the positive.
Not the writer of the article, but the comment.
We dominated and as of right now and if Georgia wins we are in 1st place in east with two games to go. I was bashing this team after 3weeks too but this isn’t that same team, this is a team that can win out so take your ass to rupp and sit on sidewalk till basketball starts, I’ll be watching my football team go bowling. GO BIG BLUE!
AMEN! Some people are UK basketball fans. Others are UK fans, fans of all things UK. Other people, like the person making the first comment, are just complainers. Go Cats!
Offensive line dominated and defense held a high scoring offense and future NFL qb to one td and two late minute garbage tds
I have no issues with the offense, and the Defense is getting better. This is what I thought this team should be doing. Keep ratcheting it up guys, this season has huge games yet to be played, and we can be competitive with them all.
DJ Eliot, was the one thing this team needed to fix. It has been…..
Great job guys, really solid. You’re beating the scum of the SEC. Win/loss totals of FIVE teams we’ve beat: 14-25. Yaaaayyyyy.
And you need a last second TD pass to beat a 35 pt underdog, you obvious Loserville troll. Yaaaayyyyyy!
