Two Kentucky football seniors, Blake Best and Mason Wolfe, have been named to the 2019 Academic All-District Team, which honors the nation’s top student-athletes who thrive both on the field and in the classroom.

The award was handed out by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) panel and the two ‘Cats now have the chance to move on and make the Academic All-America Team, which will be announced early in December.

Best has been the Wildcats long snapper for four straight seasons and boasts a perfect snapping record. The Duluth, GA native is actively working on his master’s degree in finance after graduating from Kentucky in Dec. 2018 with a 4.0 GPA.

Wolfe is Kentucky’s 6-foot-6 offensive guard and a Henderson, KY native who has appeared in all nine games for the ‘Cats this season. He graduated in May 2019 with a GPA of 3.623 and is also working on a master’s degree, but in sport leadership.

Congrats to two impressive Wildcats!
