Tim Couch will have to wait another year for the College Football Hall of Fame

tim-couch-kentucky

Former Kentucky football greats Tim Couch and Art Still were two of 81 nominees for the College Football Hall of Fame 2014 class, announced back in March. Today the Hall named its 16 inductees for 2014, voted on by 12,000 National Football Foundation members, and neither Cat made the final cut.

This was Couch’s first appearance on the Hall of Fame ballot. After setting several records, earning All-American honors, and going first overall in the draft, there is no doubt he’ll make it in one day.

Let’s get that done next year, ok?

“no doubt” , . . I worry about his labels as an NFL “flop” and college “system” QB. He deserves, but media and reality are not necessarily cohesive.

    Art Still / Derrick Ramsey . . . BEASTS!!!

Couch was the man! Anyone who watched him that knows what they’re talking about knows he was not a flop. The fact that he took the Browns to the playoffs should in itself get him in the NFL Hall of Fame. He’s good friends with Peyton and is the reason Eli wouldn’t go to San Diego because they feared it would be a similar situation. Of course Phillip Rivers ended up alright

It’s only fitting that the Deuce makes it on his SECOND try.
