This video of Marcus McClinton is the only thing you need to get ready for Saturday
It may have come at the expense of our man Jared Lorenzen leading the Blue-White chant, but my favorite new tradition at Commonwealth this fall has been former Cat Marcus McClinton coming out to get the crowd hyped for the fourth quarter. You can’t fully appreciate it unless you see it in person, but McClinton screams at the crowd to “GET YOUR FOURS UP,” whirling around the field like the Tasmanian Devil on Mt. Dew. It truly is a sight to behold.
That’s why I was so excited this morning to see this video from Marcus revving the fanbase us for tomorrow’s game vs. Georgia as only he can.
“This is the week. This is the week to complete the turnaround. This week gonna complete the turnaround in UK Football. Hands down. Hands down.”

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, UK just announced Marcus is also singing the national anthem. You ready, America? GET YOUR PATRIOTISM UP.
I think this calls for a little, “We Believe,” don’t you?

Papa Brooks had some fun teams. Goosebumps every time I hear that rap from Marcus. Let’s #Finish and shake up the SEC East tomorrow.
This man needs to be on Stoops staff in some capacity. I’m not saying a full time assistant, I have nothing but love for the current coaches and dont want anybody replaced. But “everything up until now, we did what we were supposed to do.” LOVE IT! He could be the lamar thomas of our defense and tell them how it is. Marcus is one infectious and bad mama jama! Go Cats!
