There’s a lot of gambling action on Saturday’s game

UK vs. Miami, OH

According to SportsInsights.com, a site that follows trends in the sports betting market, only Alabama-Texas A&M has drawn more action than this Saturday’s game in Commonwealth Stadium. Over 6,500 bets have already been placed on the Kentucky-Louisville game, the second-highest total behind The Johnny Manziel Show’s 10,000-plus wagers.

Online sport betting is a very popular form of gambling that counts for billions of dollars worldwide. The online betting industry has been growing every day since its emergence, which basically coincided with the outset of the Internet. You can legally bet on sports today through one of the hundreds of different online sport betting sites where they are all headquartered at offshore gambling institutions in countries where it is legal to hold such activities. However, some of the sites out there are risky and you should choose your Internet sportsbook wisely.

Although you probably already know that gambling in itself is a dicey endeavor, placing a wager at a togel online can lower the risk of you losing your funds from a scam. In fact, the main reasons why online sports betting is becoming more popular are because it’s fun and can be done everyday, it adds an exciting element to a sporting event, and it gives you the opportunity to win a lot of easy money. Read this article to discover how you can safely and effortlessly place online sport bets and learn how to give yourself the opportunity to make easy money.

With the advent of the Internet, online sport betting has transformed the very definition of sports gambling. Traditionally, it has been regarded as a general activity for sports fans to participate in occasionally, which would heighten their interest for a particular game or sporting event. This activity would also benefit the leagues and teams of interest because there would be a bigger television audience and greater attendance numbers at the games themselves.

Back in the day, the only places you could even engage in such activities (in the United States) would be Las Vegas or other casinos where gambling was legal – and where there were numerous bookmakers standing by more than willing to accept your wager. However, the Internet has since opened the door for a worldwide online sport betting industry where gambling restrictions are weak or otherwise nonexistent.

You may be wondering: Is online sport betting legal? The answer is yes, and it can be done through an online sportsbook. Over the last decade, hundreds of Internet sportsbooks began accepting regular sports wagers from all types of bettors. Since the legality of sports betting and the general acceptance of gambling varies from country to country, nearly all online sportsbooks that have come into existence today are located offshore. Most are headquartered in Central American countries or on Caribbean island nations where not only they allow bookmakers to accept bets, but sports betting in general is a commended activity because the institutions provide strong financial benefits for its employees, especially in the smaller, poorer countries such as Jamaica and Costa Rica.

The best online sports betting sites advertise their companies through the mainstream media in the United States, such as in sports magazines, college newspapers, or on other general gambling websites. This is because the target market for these institutions are American sports bettors, especially because of the popularity of betting on games in baseball, basketball, and football.

However, as legitimate as they may seem, one must take caution before choosing an Internet sportsbook. They could be operating in a country with loosely defined laws or in one that doesn’t govern their regulations. Some are run by poorly financed companies, which would result in a high risk for bettors to safely wire money online to the sport betting sites and into their bankroll. The best betting sites generally have a few other companies that are all linked to a strong financial institution, such as the BetCRIS Group (Bet Costa Rica International Sports), which has been regarded as the industry leader in the offshore business.

In general, since online sport betting is readily available for sports fans and gamblers alike, it has been steadily growing as an entertaining activity to take part in and is increasing in popularity everyday. Today, there are overall fewer risks when placing a wager at a reputable sportsbook than there used to be before gambling came online. Sports betting has always heightened the interest for a particular sporting event, and will continue to adhere to the overall popularity of all games worldwide.

You can see how online betting provides the opportunity for anyone – regardless of gambling experience – to participate in a legal activity that can open the door to make easy money betting on sports. Online sport betting has made it very convenient for gamblers to make sports bets with Internet bookmakers in the comfort of their own home, and most betting sites offer a variety of valuable resources to use so that you always have the best chances of winning your bet.

Sports Insight says 92% of the current bets are taking Louisville to cover the spread, which currently stands at 13.5 points out in Las Vegas.

Let’s hope UK pisses all those people off on Saturday.

If everyone is betting U of L, why doesn’t the spread move?

I’d love to be surprised, but I’m guessing 13.5 points is probably being very generous. Go Cats.

It’s not being generous. Vegas is usually right on and they set the early line right at a touchdown. The spread has moved significantly.

This line (and the opening line of UK +7.5) have me utterly terrified as a gambler and cautiously optimistic as a UK fan. Lines like this out of Vegas scream “We know something you don’t know!” So the question is, what does Vegas know?

My friends and I believe UL is going to smash UK and go undefeated toward a national championship. After all, we’ve beaten a MAC team and an FCS team, so we are good to go. So, we are all betting our assistance checks on the game. UK fans are down in the dumps after losing to WKU and three years of Joker ball, so they have no confidence. Put these two things together, and you have a lot of money on UL.

5- I couldn’t agree more. Vegas wants people to bet UL. I thought the line would open at 15-16, but 7.5? That’s great for UK

Ha ha, I know you’re speaking from the hypothetical point of view of a UofL fan, but there’s no way they’re sniffing the championship game unless Alabama, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Oregon, and probably a handful of other teams with legit schedules all take at least two losses.

The line was never actually +7 at either off shore sites I use….the first available line at public offshore books was +10.5. As long as it stays under 2 TD’s I think UK has a shot to keep it close. There will be loads of public money on UL. The public is usually wrong.

I still cant believe that BAMA is on the road against #6/7 whatever A&M and are 9.5 point favs. thats the most interesting line…. Looks like roll tide to me cause that line makes no sense and I have a feeling that Bama will try to prove a point vs johnny football

Agree. there is probably at least 10 teams that gotta lose 2X for louisville to even be discussed…its sad b/c as much as I hate louisvilel i really like teddy B and his talents will be wasted there with bascially no chance to ever play in a title game

The line for ‘Bama-aTm is at 9.5 because aTm gave up 31 points and many many yards to Rice and similarly against Sam Houston St they gave up 28 points, I think, and a bunch of yards.

If they can’t stop Rice or Sam Houston St., they ain’t gonna stop ‘Bama.

#11, The line opened up Sunday night at the Wynn is Las Vegas NV at UK +7.5 It jumped to 10.5 in a few hours. I have a friend in Vegas that actually got UofL at -7.5.

I often wager with a friend of mine what the opening lines are going to be when the come out (probably a sign you gamble too much) and I guessed it would open up around 13-14 points. He thought it would be in the low 20’s. We were both dumbfounded when it came in at 7.5

Hate to burst your bubble, but you have absolutely zero shot at a national title this year because of your cupcake schedule.

being at the top of the big east is still worse than being at the bottom of the SEC.

” As long as it stays under 2 TD’s I think UK has a shot to keep it close”. What does the line have to do with our chances on Saturday? So if the line stays under 10 we may win, but if the line goes to 14.5 we have no chance. WTH???

Football is all about matchup’s. We do not match up well with Louisville. Miami OH cannot be used as a barometer to how much improvement we made vs. WKU. Hate to bust everyone’s bubble, but 13.5 is very generous and gives us the benefit of the doubt because we are playing at home.

The Vegas line for this game isn’t important, the important line is your local KY bookie line. I’ve heard anywhere for 20 1/2 down to 14 1/2, there is that much movement locally. Bookies are having to move this line to cover their butts on the other side, so the line might go even higher. UL fans, just because the line goes higher, doesn’t mean you’re that much better.

UL fans you need to get over themselves; unlike local Kool Aid drinking media, national media knows you play no one no matter how many PR propaganda articles UL tries getting put out to national media outlets. No National Championship ever & Teddy may get invited but no Heisman.

I just read a comment about this the other day, which I think is right. Vegas odds don’t tell you what Vegas “knows.” The odds tell you where the betting public’s money is going. Vegas sets and resets the odds simply to even out the bets. All they want is their vig. That’s how Vegas “wins.”

Drew, is KSR not going to ban or delete the comments of trolls who use words such as “C$unts”? Where do you draw the line, if at all?
