The Most Embarrassing Clip from the Florida Game You Haven’t Seen

Saturday night’s loss to Florida was bad.  It was worse than bad.  It was worse than ugly.  It was awful, plain and simple.  Yet somehow, it continues to get worse.

This morning Florida punter Johnny Townsend took the time to swim in Kentucky’s tears.  The punter brought out the boomstick on his kicks and on true freshman Clevan Thomas.

MAKE IT STOP!

Wrong. Last year was bad and ugly. Some bone-headed plays make this year somewhat embarrassing but at least we were competitive and maybe the better team.

Our coaches don’t go from being geniuses to idiots in a matter of a week. Stoops and company are not the best coaches in the SEC but they are far from the worst and they would be very hard to replace.

Congrats to the punter for knocking someone down. Punter went down as well which likely would have taken him out of position to make a tackle where it mattered.

Looked like the UK guy was already backpedaling and he simply pushed him off balance, and then fell on him. Hardly a “pancake”. A pancake is when a guy is in actual blocking position with his feet under him and you simply steamroll him. Weak.

I think he was just having a little fun at our expense. Truth is, the dude crushed the ball all game long.

He may have crushed it but he out kicked his coverage almost every time. He had great distance but no extra hang time therefore Walker was able to get several returns of 15-20 yards plus the huge 50+ yard return. Having fun at our expense is fine but I would venture that his coaches were not happy with his performance and his sub 40′ net. On the other hand, I don’t believe FL had a return against our punter of more than a yard or two. The one good return they had that I remember was called back for a block in the back.
