— Something you don’t know about the young stars that shined against Murray State.

— How Lynn Bowden has developed as a wide receiver since he arrived on campus.

— Drew shares his thoughts on Starkville.

Every game is decided in the trenches. We need to play smart, know our assignments and play tough in the trenches and the game will be close with us winning. Play out of control and we will see outcome like last year.

Don’t know the kid or his family, but I know he scored a bunch of TDs in high school for McCracken County, from a bunch of different positions….running, receiving, special teams, pick sixes, etc. Backup wide receiver Hughes kid scored on a reverse and showed both speed and elusiveness against Murray State. Just because a guy is timed fast, but continues to get tackled by only one defender in the open field leaves me to believe he might not have that 6th sense of seeing running lanes. That make sense? Is Hughes kid even being considered as a kick-off/punt return return guy ? He sure looks the part!

I’m not trying to be mean when I say this. Nick can be really annoying on this podcast. Yes he’s knowledgeable and I enjoy his football opinion. But he talks way to much when other people are talking. He inserts himself and can hi jack a discussion. Then he will start talking about something ridiculous. Like just randomly singing or interrupted someone to mention his wedding song. I’m not one of those that says stick to the topics or whatever. But him going off the rails isn’t his strong suit. And I think what made it worse this podcast was because he even said he was jacked up on caffeine lol. Nick I like you and I’m just trying to give constructive feedback. Dial it down a bit please and thank you.
