The Cats are Confident in Sawyer Smith

If Terry Wilson cannot play next Saturday, Sawyer Smith’s number will be called.

No. 12 is a graduate transfer from Troy. He has not been on campus long, but the Wildcats are confident Smith is prepared to lead Kentucky’s offense.

“He’s very aggressive and I think he’s going to show you guys that,” said Ahmad Wagner. “He’s not afraid. He’s going to take chances. He’s going to run, throw. He’s a really good quarterback and he’s a good leader. If he has to take that spot, I think he’ll be ready.”

He gets rid of the ball a lot faster with his release. followed Troy last year. He is not a Stoops kind of QB. Just read what Wagner said about taking chances. Lol… This could be a perfect storm on offense with a Stoops having spread personal and a QB that is aggressive within it… I truly believe he can put up 300 yards against gators. However i worry about INTS, not just taking chances but being on the on same page with receivers.
