The Best Moments from SEC Inside on UK/Vandy

Last night, Kentucky’s win over Vanderbilt was featured on SEC Inside, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Cats’ sixth victory of the season. The episode isn’t available online, so I went through and captured the best moments for you with my trusty iPhone camera.

Kash’s Pregame Pep Talk

We got our first glimpse of Kash’s pregame pep talks on the SEC Inside from the Florida game. The one vs. Vanderbilt did not disappoint.

This kid’s reaction to the Terry Wilson/Lynn Bowden lateral fumble

That’s creepier than anything you’ll see on Halloween.

I’ll title this one, “Kentucky fans look cold”

And this one, “Kentucky fans do not look cold”

Jordan Jones’ song about Davonte Robinson’s PBU

Davonte Robinson’s pass break-up on a crucial third down in the fourth quarter helped seal the win, and Jordan Jones liked it so much he made up his own version of a popular children’s song:

Stoops telling Gran to get Benny the ball

The slow-mo sequences of Benny running show you just how special he is. Kid refuses to go down.

“Now it’s a Headbangers Ball in Lexington”

Fun fact: Ryan Lemond does the same thing with his new hair when the Cats score.

Nasty Boys

If there’s one word to describe Saturday night, it’s nasty; from the weather to his team’s attitude, Stoops kept coming back to that adjective in his postgame locker room speech.

Janet Jackson would approve.

Derrick Baity’s bowl dance

I bet that took some practice.

If you’d like to see the full episode of SEC Inside, it will replay tomorrow at 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and Saturday at 6 a.m. on the SEC Network.
