The 3rd Quarter Gut Punch

You could’ve left the room to pop a bag of popcorn and you would have missed Kentucky’s deterioration.  Things fell apart after the Cats gave up two touchdowns in 42 seconds.  The catalyst was Patrick Towles’ screen pass interception that went right into the defender’s bread-basket.

Pat’s made some bad throws this year.  This is the worst.

But wait! There’s MORE!

Kentucky found a way to score on the following drive, but that was quickly forgotten when the ensuing kickoff was returned for a touchdown, giving Tennessee three touchdowns in 2:37.  It doesn’t get much worse than that…

After floundering for a few plays, Rocky Top returned a punt for a touchdown as the rain began to fall with 5:29 left in the third quarter.

Four touchdowns in five minutes and twenty seven seconds.

Thank God they decreased my size or the number of empty seats would have been embarrassing on live Primetime TV.

Embarrassing. …….UT is better than UK, but I don’t think that much better. Holding after holding penalty. Zero offense,3rd down defense well really all the D, was soft batch cookies…..come on CATS!

Listen and learn how to pacify the hayseeds. By the end of the post game show the rubes will think we are a playoff team. That is why I am a shoe in to be elected to Congress

When your QB can’t hit a moving receiver, the other team is going to blitz and keep doing it as the odds are better to get get to the QB than the completion rate. I am tired of listening to how much more talent we have in coaches and players. GA, ass kicking. Vandy, another embarrassment. Really think UL will not come to play?

Pat has been very inconsistent this year. He does good, then lets us all down the next game. He doesn’t know how to look off defenders that well. I say give Barker a try wouldn’t hurt. That’s how I feel though, the rest of you all might think I’m crazy but honestly, he’s played more bad games then good ones in my opinion.
