Tennessee WR Arrested For Domestic Violence

Tennessee wide receiver Josh Smith was arrested early this morning after assaulting male roommate Kennedy Foster. The details made it sound like Smith really wanted a piece of Foster:

According to WATE, Foster said he suffered injuries to his face after a fight involving Smith. Foster also said the Volunteers wideout “broke down the door” to his room after he went inside and locked the door, which led to the scuffle.

“We fought, and he got the better side,” Foster said.

No disciplinary action has been taken by the football team as of yet, but details are still forthcoming. The Cats will square off with the Vols on October 28 at Commonwe… excuse me, Kroger Field.

Let the Kroger Field situation die down. Enough is enough. Always love reading your stories, but seems like no one @KSR can end a post without saying something.

“No disciplinary action has been taken by the football team as of yet” like naming him team captain?

I suspect it was either roid rage or a spat over a girl. Either way, it must have been a pretty bad beating for him to get charged with beating up another football player.

I remember when a two UL players that were brothers, jumped another UL player and put him in the hospital. Don’t think they ever got charged? Maybe the player ended up in civil court over it, not sure, because the legal system let him down.
