Tennessee Opens As A Touchdown Favorite

Via Fansided

For the fifth time in eight games this season the Kentucky Wildcats will be playing the role of underdog. Vegas has spoken and the Vols opened up as a 7-point favorite for Halloween’s game under the lights of Commonwealth Stadium.

UT is coming off yet another loss in a game where they held a fourth quarter lead so expect an angry team traveling to Lexington. Despite the soft looking 3-4 record,  Jesse Palmer called Tennessee the best 4-loss team in the country on last night’s broadcast. The Cats will be motivated to move closer to bowl eligibility and continue to pile on the Vol’s disappointing year.

A quick look at Ticketmaster shows plenty of seats still available, even in the lower level. With the Breeder’s cup and Halloween bringing a huge crowd to Lexington this weekend you can bet those seats aren’t going to be available for long. Better act now if you don’t have a ticket for yet another game that could be decided by one score or less.

At this point besides Vandy (maybe ) and Charlotte, everyone is a favorite to win including those whoring dirty birds right down I-65.

Only a TD? Will be at least double of that.

Love my Cats but see no way this game is even close. Tennessee has better overall talent and depth. I just want to keep the next two games respectable with no major injuries. Our important games will be the last three– which I think we will. There is no team in the SEC I dislike more than the Vols but it would take a miracle in our young teams maturation process to get a win this Saturday.

Don’t even try to make this out to be a competitive game. This is not the year Kentucky makes this game competitive. We do not have any athletes that can compete in this league right now. Maybe Chris Westry and Boom, but that’s not going to do it. We will need to make sure we don’t screw up the Vandy game. Who cares about the other games. The Vandy game will determine if the cats play in postseason, and with all these young kids thinking they’re competitive, it’s going to take a few more sobering losses to humble them and bring them back down to Earth. We are way behind schedule if we go 5-7 again.

UT will steam roll these jokers. no pun intended. With Matt Elam opening the middle up for the run game and ensuring the QB has all day to throw… this game will be a laugher by halftime.

All of you have been reading the articles on this site too much. I realize some of you are trolls but, KSR is the first ones to dog pile on the football team when they need the support the most. This is the reason we can’t build a competitive football team. FAIR WEATHER FANS.

I can see the logic behind the 7 point line in favor of UT. Given their propensity to have 4th quarter collapses, the potentiality of them blowing a big 2nd half lead only to pull it out in the death against a barely competitive team is likely.

If we show up we might steal it, but my gut tells me that we’ll lose by 7-14. However, I’ll be happily cheering my Cats the whole game! Just please no 30 point loss guys.
