Tavin Richardson turning heads at today’s practice

The media is currently watching the football team practice, and Nick Roush will be by in a bit with a full recap of his observations, but a few things are worth passing along before then. First: redshirt freshman Tavin Richardson looks good. The 6’3″ wide receiver has had several big grabs this morning, including two touchdowns against star cornerback Derrick Baity. Here’s one of them:

This picture from Kyle Tucker of Richardson’s TD is beautiful:

Second most important note that just can’t wait for Nick’s recap: Garrett Johnson’s dancing.

Stay tuned for more news and notes in a bit.

Just so that I fully understand, a red shirt freshman, is winning against the strongest part of our defense? Good for him, and best of luck going forward.
Looks like we will need the offense to score a lot of points every game, we need players like him.

I didn’t know the labeling of “star” was tossed around so loosely.

From all reports, really hope our star tackling and star defensive line/linebackers get it together before opening kickoff.
No reason not to go bowling this season. After all, we our lead by star coach Mark Stoops (haha).
