Good morning! Like most of you, I’m still geeking out over last night’s win; Commonwealth was electric even without a sellout, Patrick Towles showed us he was in charge and our defense stopped Maty Mauk and the Mizzou attack. So let’s keep the fun going with a couple of good reads:

Last year’s games against Florida and Mizzou were supposed to be our statement games. This year, the Cats managed to make a statement last night, snapping several streaks along the way.

A former Rich Brooks wide receiver, Stevie Johnson, is now making a name for himself as a “money player” for the San Diego Chargers, giving Keenan Allen a run for his money.

There’s no doubt that having both Jason Hatcher and Ryan Flannigan back last night was amazing, both getting 8 tackles and doing other stuff to help lead the Cats to victory.

Regardless of what the people behind me thought last night, Patrick Towles played amazing, earning a coveted game ball from Coach Stoops.

Been way down on Pat this year but last night showed he has it. Can he keep it going is the big question going for the rest of the season. The Defense deserves a big hats off although the Missouri offense is pretty pathetic. Great play calling by Dawson, another one I have not been happy about this year, and hope he keeps the opposing defenses off balance. With EKU next week the Cats look to be 4-1 going into a Thursday night game against Auburn who seems way down this year and maybe the Cats steal one there. Keep it going Cats lets go bowling.
