Ten years ago today, Stevie Johnson got loose.
The No. 9 Louisville Cardinals came into Commonwealth Stadium assuming a beatdown was in the works.
Brian Brohm was a Heisman Candidate and the Cards were talented enough to win a national title. They had defeated Kentucky four years in a row, including a 59-28 beatdown the year before.
Nobody on the entire Wildcat roster had ever beaten UofL in their college career. With less than a minute remaining in the game, UK was down by one point and had a fighting chance of knocking off the heavy favorite.
The rest is history.
Ten years later, that play still gives me goosebumps.
