South Carolina cornerback has championship belt in his corner

We’ve talked a lot about South Carolina’s defense, which ranks 28th in the country in points allowed at 17.3 per game. One of the stars of that defense is cornerback Chris Lammons, who had himself quite a day in South Carolina’s win over East Carolina last week. Lammons had a sack, a forced fumble, a career-high eight tackles, AND an interception on the 1-yard line, which was good enough to earn him the Gamecocks’ championship belt, given weekly to the defensive player with the highest production. Lammons showed the belt off on Twitter yesterday:

That’s cool and all, but is it as cool as the KSR championship belt?

Crown Trophy in Lexington made the belt for Matt, but I think we should follow Muschamp’s lead. Blogger with the fewest typos each week gets it? Highest number of angry comments? Most sponsorship drops in each post? What say you, KSR readers?

I think you need to redesign the belt. Pics of Matt and other person have to go. Winner will be Chester when he defeats the heel Darryl in the first Fan in the Stands Battle happening in section 225 at Wildcat Mania I on Saturday.
