It was a cold, snowy, blustery, any other adjective that sounds miserable kind of night at Commonwealth Stadium, which made for a sparse crowd, but props to those true blue fans that stayed the entire game. You guys are the real MVPs.
“I appreciate the fans that were there today,” Stoops said. “I know it was a very dismal day, playing at 7:30 again in bad weather most of the day and cold. Greatly appreciate the fans that were there. Next week, we need everybody in those seats. We need it filled and fans to come root for this team because we’re going to put everything into it.”
