Let’s give credit where credit’s due and commend Shannon Dawson on that second half of offense that won the game for Southern Miss. His team was unstoppable with the football during its 34-0 run in the final 35 minutes and 26 seconds of the game.
Afterward, Dawson got the ol’ Gatorade bath from his team on the opposing sideline. He and Mark Stoops shared a friendly hug at midfield too.
I guess those Shannon Dawson jokes aren’t funny anymore, huh?

Yeah, keep running it up the middle until they stop you. He’s a real offensive mastermind. His decision to get a bunch of penalty yards an turnovers was equally genius.
He obviously was laughing when a KID was laying on the ground motionless…no one has pointed that out yet…
Wait…didn’t you just point it out!? Laughing?? Are you sure he was laughing at the kid that lay motionless or was he laughing at your fat ass, red headed pencil dick of a coach who decided to fire him instead of DJ Elliott!? Kentucky football has never amounted to much and will never live up to the expectations of their fan base, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT THE “AIR RAID”.
Maybe Stoops should be replaced by Shannon Dawson. Let me know how the big blue nation feels about that.

Eh, Stoops’ defense literally was a push over. Had Mullens not thrown three pretty bad picks, it could’ve been worse. It’s easy to win when you basically get 4 hards a play off 2 or 3 plays up the gut.
Dawson jokes are definitely funny. He beat Kentucky and is still getting 2 paychecks every month. One of those from the University that has no clue on how to run a football program.

Great idea and a quick fix for the football program, especially when Stoops won’t be there to handcuff Coach Dawson’s offense.
There are only a few great defensive minded HC’s in this game. KY’s Stoops ain’t on that list.
In fairness every coach looks like a genius against Kentucky’s pathetic defense. Let’s see what happens when Southern Miss plays a Division 1 level team.
That was painful to watch. Stoop can’t blame that on Patrick Towles! I’m glad I did not renew my season tickets.

Drew, the Dawson jokes never were funny. Why do you enjoy making fun of coaches who were fired, long after they were fired? You did the same thing with Joker who loved Kentucky football more than any coach we had. If these coaches did something unethical to a player or the program, you might be justified. For you to continue to ridicule coaches after they tried their best and failed, however, only makes you look bad.
Very well said. Agree 100%. The only bright spot of the game was that Dawson got the last laugh at these juvenile comments from KSR writers.
