With the 2020 SEC schedule in hand, the fine folks at Bovada have released win totals for all 14 teams. Kentucky’s is 4.5, with an over of +105 and an under of -135.

  • LSU: 8 (+105/-135)
  • Florida: 7.5 (+105/-135)
  • Auburn: 7 (EVEN/-130)
  • Texas A&M: 6 (-115/-115)

  • Mississippi State: 2.5 (+105/-135)
  • Arkansas: 2 (-120/-110)
  • Vanderbilt: 1.5 (+150/-200)

A reminder of Kentucky’s schedule:

I see at least five wins in there, so pardon me while I go visit Uncle Bo.

Only thing that scares me is the history under Stoops of the team not showing up for a game or two after a big game loss. This team is good and deep and should win a minimum of 7 but higher than that is possible. If they lose at Auburn and no show right after they could be 3-7.

Our schedule is actually set about as much in our favor as we could have hoped. Auburn out of the gates is to our advantage, given the oddball offseason and our returning experience. Tennessee-Georgia back-to-back is rough, but we get Georgia at home after they play ‘Bama. We get our bye followed by Vandy before going to Alabama (who plays LSU before us and Auburn after, setting us up to be a trap game), and we finish with SC at home. The toughest game I see is going to Gainesville after playing at ‘Bama.

We only will lose just 1 game with this schedule if that . I could see us going undefeated also.

I’m glad they settled the outcomes already. Now we don’t have to play amidst the pandemic. Whew!
