SEC Network host picks Kentucky to win the SEC East

Georgia’s loss to LSU put Kentucky’s dream of making the SEC Championship a little bit more in reach. With the November 3 showdown with the Bulldogs looming, the SEC Network’s Peter Burns called his shot this morning, picking Kentucky to win the SEC East to go to Atlanta for the league championship on December 1.

“With Georgia going down, this thing is absolutely within reach, a trip to Atlanta. I’ll be honest with you, I’m picking Kentucky to win the SEC East now because of that schedule. SEC East is going to be the Kentucky Wildcats in Atlanta.”

Stuff like this is starting to make me nervous.

UK winning in football is the most addictive and delusional drug. Hella fun though!

We act like this is insane, but if we had beat A&M, it would be likely, so it’s not THAT crazy

Those of you saying that we are dreaming, have you seen the schedule? Beat 3 SEC that aren’t ranked, 2 of which are horrible. And maybe have to beat Georgia. It’s not farfetched.

This isn’t as farfetched as non UK fans think. LSU dominated Georgia and they are a really good team but not great. I don’t see UK losing another game before or after the Georgia game. It will take a great game by the offense to beat them because we all know the defense is going to take care of business.

UGA is very beatable. Vandy, Tenn, and Mizzou arent that great. Georgia should be the only true test the Cats have the rest of the season

I like the underdog role better. It’s a bigger test when people on a national level are expecting you to compete for it. Can these Cats handle it better than Brooks’ best team?

Two years ago. We got whipped last year. 21-6 at halftime, play or two away in first half. You know how those games go.
