Here’s some breaking news for your Wednesday afternoon: FootballScoop.com is reporting that UK defensive coordinator DJ Eliot is headed to Colorado “in a similar capacity.”

Eliot has been Kentucky’s defensive coordinator since Mark Stoops took the head coaching job in 2013.

UPDATE (3:52 PM): The report has now been confirmed by the Herald-Leader’s Jen Smith and SEC Country’s Kyle Tucker, the latter of which notes Stoops is focused on the 2017 class and is no hurry to replace Eliot.
