Patrick Towles really loves milk, adding weight


Projected starting quarterback Patrick Towles is almost up to 250 pounds and he’ll be there in no time if he continues to consume milk at such an aggressive pace. Towles took down six half-pints of whole milk during dinner last night, according to Erik Korem, UK’s high performance coach:

      Undeed. Milk is actually not very healthy for you even without the hromone issue. Milk is improtant for young children, as they rarely get enough calcium from their diet (green veggies provides more than enough calcium) and they need about 25% fat in their diet, so whole milk is good for kids.

      If you notice, milk is fortified with vitamin d and other vitamins because it is basically a fat and calcium delivery device with little nutrional value otherwise, but most people are ignorant to these facts becuse they grew up listening to their parents spout passed down information that is false. Almost no one needs milk and many drink way too much. And I won’t even get into had bad for the environnment dairy cows are or how many unecessary hormones your are drinking if you consume milk.

      I haven’t had a glass of milk since I left for college, but I consume copius amounts of green vegatbles which pack numerous other nutrients besides calcium and without the fat.

      If you like the tast, have at it, but don’t kid yourself that you are drinking something healthy. Milk does NOT do a body good.

      Towles is trying to fatten up and milk is the best way to do that. It is healthier than french fries.

    Cow’s milk is the #1 cause for Prostrate Cancer.
    It is something humans will drink very little of, if any, one day in the not so distant future once the research is universal and corporate milk producers can no longer fool the public.

      Is prostrate cancer a disease you get only while lying down?
      I don’t drink milk simply because it is not good. Milk products on the other hand…cheese, yogurt, ice cream…another story.

      Planking fell out of favor due to growing fears of prostrate cancer. As for prostate cancer milk has been linked in multiple, respectable studies. As one can readily find the information on the internet a great milk company conspiracy is unlikely however. In fact, the vast majority of conspiracy theories are hokum. While people may be that twisted we just aren’t bright enough to pull it off nor are we able to keep our mouths shut long enough to do so.

    It’s cheaper by the gallon, and the jug gives you a better “chugging” sensation. Plus, you get to feel like you’re getting away with something when you put the rest of the jug back in the fridge.

    Holy crap, a 250lb qb is big and needed in the SEC. Glad to hear Towles is getting it done in the weight room. Drew Barker please follow by example.

    Exactly why do we need our QB to weigh 250 lbs? We need a QB that can throw accurately down the field. Instead of drinking milk all day long, how about 7×7 passing drills?

      Cam Newton ring a bell? He was 6’6 250 and he lasted a whole season with that size. It’s not like he is putting on fat.
