One stat shows where Mark Stoops has taken the UK Football Program

In just under two weeks Mark Stoops will end his seventh season as Kentucky’s head coach in the Belk Bowl. As the decade draws to a close, there’s plenty of time to reflect on how Kentucky’s program has dramatically changed during his time in Lexington.
You can point to the numbers in this year’s recruiting class. You could list the records broken by his players, or the amount of picks taken in the NFL Draft. I could show you in page views how our business has been significantly more successful thanks to the energy and excitement his program has generated among fans.
There’s plenty of measuring sticks, but the ultimate barometer for success is wins. Plain and simple. Since Eddie Gran became UK’s offensive coordinator four years ago, Kentucky has climbed the college football ladder. For those who have followed Kentucky football for a long time, this stat from Peter Burns will astound you.
Continue to love the job @UKCoachStoops is doing at @UKFootball.
Another Top 25 recruiting class, lands Joey Gatewood as a transfer.
Lands #1 player in Michigan, cleans up in Ohio.
Blue collar mentality.
More wins than Texas, FSU, Michigan St and Nebraska in last 4 years. pic.twitter.com/77MuzaeixP

Kentucky has been better than Texas, Florida State, Michigan State and Nebraska. What?!?!?!? UK’s 31 wins in that span are also more than Tennessee, South Carolina and Louisville.
The Kentucky football program is swimming in uncharted waters under Mark Stoops and the best is yet to come.

We’re just getting started bro!
Remember when people were yelling “Fire Eddie Gran” and that one dude who had it as his name on here? Ah, it’s nice that they have been quiet for a while now.
Kentucky Football is on the rise.
You are never going to make every fan happy. Those stats sure do put things in perspective. Maybe this next preseason people won’t be asking when UK football will “turn the corner”? I think the proverbial corner is in thr rear view mirror…
Yes they do.
We have in fact turned a corner when we win 7, 8 games in a rebuilding year after 10. The next corner will be next year. Solid QB competition/depth and some new dudes and we beat Tn, Fla, or Ga. That is the next corner. The ride will continue up the hill. It is a process, journey.
…and none of those teams play in the SEC!
(Primary list only, excluding the secondary list that references an SEC team)
I just want to beat Tennessee like we beat Louisville.
We are getting better and with the recruitment they are doing, it should get better.
