Offensive line had the third-best pass-blocking grade in the country

Kentucky’s offensive line was one of the best at protecting its quarterback during the first weekend of college football. Terry Wilson took only one sack against Toledo’s defense, all thanks to Wilson’s frontline in the trenches — Drake Jackson, Logan Stenberg, Landon Young, Luke Fortner and Darian Kinnard, to name a few.

Pro Football Focus, the website that has recently become the gold standard in football statistics, gave UK’s offensive line a 93.8 grade for its Week 1 performance against the Rockets. That number is the third-highest mark in the country, behind only the grades for the offensive lines at Rutgers (94.5) and Temple (93.9).

Mark Stoops was obviously happy with his team’s pass blocking, but said there is room to improve run blocking. “There were some rush lanes, some rush lane issues,” he said after the game, but was pleased overall with the first game.

38 points provides evidence otherwise. Statistically, TW played very well.

I doubt you even watched the game. Otherwise you would not issue such an ignorant starement.

This is as much an impressive stat as any other in the game. Wow!! One or two great players don’t and can’t do this, it takes a bunch of big uglys working very hard to accomplish this. Congrats fellas and keep knocking the dog stuff out of those big dudes across from you. Lol. We’ve got something special here with these Cats.

Ohh, for Lugo, why don’t you just find somewhere else to go I guarantee no one will ask where you are or miss you at all. You’re the kind of kid that never says anything to someone’s face and always behind someone’s back aren’t you? Try getting out of the basement and make some friends. That is all!!

He can’t get out of the basement because his mom won’t unlock the door.
