New York Post predicts Southern Miss cover

I gotta be honest, I didn’t expect to see a Kentucky-Southern Miss preview in the New York Post when I visited the website to read about Drake and Rihanna; but there it was, a story on why Mark Stoops’ Wildcats will struggle in the season opener.
The author, someone who coincidentally calls himself The Wildcat, provided his gambling pick for the game and took Southern Miss to cover the six points on the road.
“Golden Eagles offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson was the offensive coordinator at Kentucky last season, so he knows things,” The Wildcat explains. “Southern Miss’s pass rush could prove the difference. Grab Brett Favre’s alma mater (+6), for one unit.”
The Wildcat has picked games for 20 years for the magazine and has a 546-462 overall record.
It’s not very comforting to know this was his play for Week 1, the easiest weekend to make money on college football.
I went the other way with a big play on the Cats. May the best man/team win.

My wife is headed to Vegas, I’m going in on the Cats.
Brett Favre U wins straight up by 3-7 points. uk fans abandon the football team for the rest of the season and start talking basketball. Stoops seat officially becomes blazing HOT.
That is my prediction. Like anyone else who makes a prediction, I may be wrong, but that is what I am going with.
And Bobby is going to get caught with his dick hanging out again. That is my prediction. I may be wrong, but that is what I’m going with. 🙂 History is on my side.
I laughed so hard at the Bobby prediction that my coffee blasted out of my nose!
Good one…..and probably a safe bet.

No one! turns down Texas? How ridiculous. Cracks me up how simple minded folks always think they know what someones else’s career priorities are.
Jim Tom you know what else comes with the Texas job? CRAZY fan base expectations. If a new coach had one bad season their life would become a living hell. Charlie Strong is also a devoted family man with two daughters in their final years of high school. He’s not going to move them for ANY job. He may leave after they graduate. Sure its possible. Before they do? No way.
Your idiotic response makes me laugh.
Kentucky wins by 32 points.
LOL I like your moxy my friend.
Your best comment.
546-462 overall record in 20 years? That’s only a little better than a coin flip in accuracy….
You try it against the spread. That’s not a bad record.
Thats right, folks. We’re STILL waiting on cats paw’s score prediction this Saturday……. #alwaysright
