Need To Know: Info on 2019 UK Football season ticket sales and renewals

UK Athletics released the season ticket information for Kentucky football’s 2019 season and there is a lot to digest. I’ll give you the brief version and if you’re serious about renewing or purchasing seats to watch the 2019 SEC champs in Lexington next fall, further details can be found here.

Here’s the abbreviated need-to-know:

The overall cost of season tickets and parking will be adjusted to reflect an eighth home game.

Did you even know Kentucky has an extra home game next year? It’s happening because the Cats’ game against Eastern Michigan was originally scheduled as an away contest in Ypsilanti, but UK bought out the contract to play it in Lexington. The price increase will reflect that rare eighth game.

2018 season ticket holders will have access to special pricing during an Early Signing Period.

Mark Stoops’ recruits aren’t the only people who can take advantage of an Early Signing Period; season ticket holders from a year ago can get in early to get access to special pricing. Those who renew by February 1 will be able to lock in their 2019 tickets and parking at 2018 prices, which means eight games for the price of seven. What a bargain!

Here’s the full list of pricing on tickets and parking before and after Feb. 1:

2019 Season Ticket Pricing (Plus Applicable Per-Seat K Fund Donations)

Early Signing Period – Prices available to 2018 season ticket holders that renew by Feb. 1.

— Premium Seating – $371
— Standard – $329
— North 200-Level Corner – $254

New Season Ticket Sales and Renewals after Feb. 1

— Premium Seating – $410
— Standard – $365
— North 200-Level Corner – $280

2019 Parking Pricing (Plus Applicable Per-Permit K Fund Donations)

Early Signing Period – Prices available to 2018 season ticket holders that renew by Feb. 1.

— Parking Lots – $280
— Parking Structures – $168
— Bluegrass RV Lot – $700

New Season Parking Sales and Renewals after Feb. 1

— Parking Lots – $320
— Parking Structures – $192
— Bluegrass RV Lot – $800

(Note: Sales tax will be added due to the new legislation, which went into effect last summer. It’s unavoidable. Sorry.)

The renewal deadline for 2019 football season tickets is Friday, April 12.

Hop on your My UK Account at UKathletics.com/renew to renew your tickets. Paper invoices will be mailed in late February.

If you need a payment plan, the deadline to sign up is February 1.

New season tickets will go on sale February 8.

If you’re jumping on the season ticket train this year, you will be able to browse the Kentucky Football Virtual Venue to view seats and purchase those seats beginning February 8. Fans can get priority access to the best seats prior to the public on-sale date and earn exclusive incentives by placing a $50 per seat deposit or by contacting the UK Sales Office at (800) 928-2287.

UK Athletics will offer a variety of benefits to season ticket holders.

Click here to view a complete list of 2019 season ticket holder benefits. Those benefits include the opportunity to purchase more single-game tickets at a discounted rate, bonus K Fund points, specials tour and invitations to events, and more.

Season ticket holders can change seats before the renewal deadline.

Want a different view to watch Terry Wilson’s junior season? Prior to the April 12 renewal deadline, season ticket holders may contact the ticket office to check current seating availability in open areas of the stadium and to lock in new seat locations with their renewal payment.

Single-game ticket information will be released at a later date.

If you’re here for single-game tickets, sorry, I can’t help you right now. You should be buying season tickets anyway. The Cats are going to be good next year and they’re going to beat Florida, Tennessee and Louisville at home. Get in there!

Lots more info here.

What they did is replace the free basketball tix we got with early renewal with the extra football game. This year there were no free basketball tix offered with the renewal, works for me as I sold the bball tix anyways, this season I gave them away. Would rather go see an extra football game, the one and done stuff is old and tiring of having no shot at a title.

Glad you made a sensible decision. Considering you have little concern for the basketball team, can we safely assume you won’t be joining the troll patrol in continually commenting negatively about them? I certainly hope so.

No, you shouldn’t assume that at all. In fact, assume the opposite. BTW, Jamal Mashburn says to stop putting his name on idiotic takes.

Irish, clutch…did either of you notice the uncanny way he took a story that has ZERO to do with basketball, then turned it into one just so he could throw a jab at our team? That’s how the minds of these people work.

I simply stated they replaced the basketball tix with the extra football game so in reality they are not giving us anything. Also stated I was happy with the football game since basketball is no longer any fun. Basketball got in the comment because they did not give the tix this year. You all can go ahead and follow the not a chance at a title bball teams. Cal is not a good game coach and now that he is missing the very top guys we are a 20-35 best team in the NCAA. That is fine for some but should not be for UK. Agree Cal does tremendous things for UK and the kids that come here he does teach valuable life lessons to, that is awesome and valuable. I also want to win and compete for titles which we have not done the last several years despite college basketball not being very good and us having all these NBA players. Now would I rather win and have a mess and no morals like U6 has, NO, but I think we can do the good Cal does and still win but we are not. The one and done is the reason, without some vets to count on we have ZERO title chance and that has proven to be a fact for Cal the last 15 plus years. So until it changes I choose not to get into the bball overrated hype we have every year. Thankfully the football team is giving me something else to be proud of {like I once was of bball}. I also try to get down {is over a 3 hour drive} to watch the baseball, volleyball and softball teams. Would like to see the mens soccer and hockey teams this year as well. Not proud of the current Rick Pitino but had he stayed at UK we would actually be “the gold standard”, we would be all time championships leader and he would be known as the best coach in history, over Rupp, Wooden etc. What ho got us to in 96-98 I think we would have maintained that level for the last 20 years. And yes Mashburn started it all by coming here when all other top recruits were running away due to sanctions.

TL;DR, mash. Suffice it to say your tired basketball rant has no place in a post about football. Go be an OSU basketball fan if this is too hard for you. Seriously.
