Some bad news from this morning’s spring practice: according to Mark Stoops, cornerback Nate Willis needs sports hernia surgery, and will be out three or four months. Ouch.

If UK ever hopes to build any decent program they’ve got to get past having key people hurt. It’s amazing how this crap continues.

We shouldnt need him until September 13 at Florida, which is almost 5 months away. So hopefully this wont be that impactful.

Don’t forget Ohio is actually good

    • That's a reference to what Stoops said about the early season last year...

I’m pretty certain of it — back when most of us thought WKU would be a win.

Just looking at our schedule we have 3 easy wins (ohio, ULM, and another small school ), 2 very winnable games (Vandy, Mississippi State, maybe Louisville) and to pick up that 6th win we will have beat UF, LSU, South Carolina… It’s going to be hard

Not sure I’d put Vandy and Louisville in the “very winnable games” category :/

Damn it! Hopefully it’s 3 months and not 4! Stinks having a starter hurt. Hopefully young guys like Hytchye, Stamps, Edwards and West can step up.
