Nashville breaks NFL Draft attendance record

It’s just different in the South.

The NFL announced that over 600,000 people descended upon Nashville this weekend for the 2019 NFL Draft.

The crowd number was first reported at 500,000, but it was later updated to 600,000. Nashville’s outing crushed the competition – the previous record was set by Philadelphia with 250,000 people in 2017.

Organizers for the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp estimated a crowd of over 200,000 on Thursday and Friday during the first two rounds.

“We lived up to the hype,” Tennessee Titans General Manager Jon Robinson said during a news conference.

You’re on the clock, Las Vegas.
