More Good News About College Football (Just Kidding)

The sky is falling. Everything hurts. Gloom, despair and agony on me.

The hits keep on coming this Saturday as hope and optimism dwindle for college football in 2020. Since the MAC decided to cancel the season, the Big Ten presidents are talking about doing just the same. The news has stirred the anonymous sources from across the country. College football reporters have a seemingly unending stream of pessimistic quotes from conference officials.

Kentucky might have its most talented team from top to bottom since Bear Bryant was on the sidelines in Lexington and there might not be a college football season. If that does end up happening, there aren’t enough bourbon barrels in the Bluegrass to drown the sorrow of Kentucky football fans.

We were gonna have a talented team, but the health and safety of the kids is way more important. Besides, we’re gonna be even better next year, not a ton of guys would be drafted from this team outside of the O and D lines and I trust this staff to have both units at their usual elite level even in the worst case scenario.

Just wait till November if Biden wins. There will be cures everywhere from Walmart to Dollar General.

If Biden wins, at least maybe the federal government will stop pretending the virus is fake and all China’s fault anyway.

So it’s not China’s fault? You are such a moron.

You mean the Federal Corporation? Coronavirus is not fake, it’s a psyop. Coronavirus is real, it’s just not killing anyone.

No one should be surprised by this. Not one single thing has gone on as originally scheduled. RIP greatest time of the year.

Unlikely, even though a huge amount of attention will need to be paid to all of the corruption and damage that’s been done to America over the last several years.

I say that as a Republican, by the way. Just one that values country over party.

Trump started all the corruption? Get back to me when the Chinese give Trumps son 1.5 billion to play monopoly with or they get a make work job from a Ukrainian criminal for 80,000 a month. Or Trump makes his brother a millionaire as a lobbyist…..Biden is the epitome of a corrupt Washington creature and has been so for years.

Biden is TO DATE and will probably be (unless elected president) the most corrupt VP we’ve ever had in office. For all of the things people want to think and/or say about Trump, Mike Pence is not that kind of man IMO.

Talk about delusion Han, surely you’re aware there has been massive corruption for many decades by both parties and every president. Right???

Guys, there is no equivalence. There’s always been corruption. But not like this. Stuff Nixon would never dream of doing. If you can’t appreciate that as an objective observer, there’s no point trying to converse.

And if your defense is “there’s always been corruption” or some other form of whataboutism, you’re conceding the point.

They said “Arguably Our Most Talented Team since Bear Bryant was UK’s head coach before he left for the crimson tide. That is nothing like what you say….. At all… Your usual stance is that we have “recruited at the same level as the Nick Saban-led Crimsontide” and should prove just that this season, 2020. Those statements ate not equal in form or measure. I do agree we WILL have a chance to prove it on the field, but with Elite Coaching, Great Athletic Ability and Football IQ. Were loaded as much as Kentucky has ever been loaded in relevance to every other traditional powerhouses idea of “loaded”. I still think we go 7-3/6-4 atleast, maybe 8-2 with the right bounce….

It’s called the Chinese virus for a reason, it came from them. They created the virus and let it out either on purpose or accidentally. I say intentional so it would cripple the US economy and get back at Trump for stopping them from ripping us off.
Your a sheep. Now go back and get you cnn educational programming

Look at the good side. Considering the schedule you won’t be upset when UK only wins four, maybe five games.

Best now to start crossing your fingers for a basketball season one that UK is actually very good at.

If we don’t think we can keep the players safe, what makes us think we can fare any better with the general student population? Maybe the greater NYC area can return some students to the classroom because they’ve brought their outbreak under control, but as a country, we’ve allowed the virus to win. It makes no sense to return to some sense of normalcy. Like states reopening before it was safe to do so, it only makes matters worse for everyone.

It didn’t have to be this way.

This is self defeating lunacy, intentional infliction of economic hardship of tens of millions of Americans. Stop it. You cannot shut down a nation for a virus that kills a fraction of a percent of people who have it. 80% are asymptomatic and most of them don’t even get tested. Treated properly, it’s not a risk unless you are compromised or suffer from an average 2.5 Co-mortifies which I assure you these elite athletes do not. More die of undiagnosed heart conditions than will die from the Wuhan Virus. More die at home in less safe surroundings than have died from Covid. It’s Lunacy caving into a petulant demanding little cabal of autocrats. Get on with it. If u want to opt out, opt out and keep a redshirt year. Otherwise, get back to school, get back to practice and for damn sure get back to business.
