Missouri’s J’Mon Moore is NOT Happy with Josh Allen

J’Mon Moore almost carried Missouri to a comeback victory, until the ball bounced out of his hands.

Moore caught a pass from Drew Lock at the 28-yard line with just over 20 seconds to play.  Lonnie Johnson did not let Moore get out of bounds, but there was still plenty of time to kill the clock…until Josh Allen entered the picture.

Moore did not protest, nor did he scramble to pick up the ball and get it back in the referee’s hands.  He did have some words to share about it after the game.

Allen had fewer words to share about the situation.  When asked about it, Allen initially pleaded ignorance.  After multiple reporters prodded for about 45 seconds, he shrugged it off and said, “To be honest, I don’t know.”

Mark Stoops employed the same “play dumb” strategy when asked about how the ball got knocked loose.  “At the end there? I don’t know what — I don’t know what was going on,” Stoops said.

Don’t worry guys. We all know what was going on and we are totally fine with it.

Once the play is dead, J Mon needs to give the ball to a ref. I believe Josh Allen was trying to help J Mon do the right thing by taking the ball from him and giving it to the referee to be spotted as soon as possible. Unfortunately, he accidentally knocked it loose and that’s when the amnesia set in.

Good. Kentucky has been screwed by BS calls for years. Two of those directly resulted in Florida extending their ridiculous streak against us. It’s about time the refs looked the other way for the Cats. Lord knows we’ve earned it.

I mean why didn’t the mizzou guy run after the ball and give it to the ref then? Complaining about working harder rather than smarter

That’s heads-up, winning football right there. We would have been on the receiving end of that in years past.

Aren’t players supposed to knock the ball out of the opponent’s hands? I’m confused.

Its not cheating its called a heads up play there’s no cheating to it, its similar to a batter not getting hit by the ball and taking first base even tho they know the ball didn’t hit him ie; Derek Jeter

Stupid move by the receiver. Get it into the hands of the referee EVERY time. Would have done the same thing. Hanging onto the ball like that after a play is something you dont do for that reason and others.
